Teddy & The Rough Riders är unga Nashvillescenens coolaste country-rockslynglar och har på senare år gått från klarhet till klarhet. De har släppt plattor via Jack White’s Third Man Records, turnerat med Orville Peck, backat Sean Thompson’s Weird Ears och Margo Price producerade sina favoriter på deras senaste album som också är ett av årets bästa.
Country-rock i rakt nedstigande led till Flying Burrito Brothers, The Band och New Riders of the Purple Sage via Hoyt Axton, JJ Cale och Doug Sahm, för att att hamna jämnsides med The Nude Party, Mike & the Moonpies och The Pink Stones – 70s country rock med dagens Neo-Outlaw attityd.
