THE HANGING STARS

The Hanging Stars rör sig i ett musikaliskt landskap av tidig folkpop med stänk av country, psykedelia och skön stämsång. Ett kosmiskt country-folkrockband med  blandning av pastoral engelsk folkmusik och själfull americana. Här möter brittiska Mojave 3 och Grand Drive själsfränder som Californiens  Beachwoods Sparks, Allah-Las och GospelbeacH för en sommarflört med powerpophjältarna Teenage Fanclub och Big Star.

Bobby Lee verkar i en värld av kosmisk country-folk, full av rymd och loppisgitarrer. Här möts JJ Cale’s analoga americana, ambient spacecowboy-psychedelia, Tony Joe White’s swamp grooves och sinnesvidgande kraut-country-choogles. Förstärkare brummar i den varma eftermiddagssolen, barn och hundar slumrar på gräset och trasiga trummaskiner slår i takt med universum.
